Spider cranes are primarily designed for construction and maintenance environments where space is limited. Examples include transporting building materials to upper floors during the renovation of older structures; performing precise lifting operations within the narrow corridors of indoor facilities; or replacing components inside wind turbine towers. Their crawler-based undercarriage offers superior ground adaptability compared to wheeled equipment, allowing them to operate on muddy, sandy, or rocky terrain, as well as on steps. Furthermore, when folded, these units can be compressed to a height of less than 2 meters-enabling them to pass through standard doorways and significantly expanding their utility for indoor operations.
